Gliit sends notifications to keep you informed about activity on your documents and shared workspaces. You can control which notifications you receive and how they are delivered from your account settings.

Access notification settings

1

Open settings

Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of Gliit and select Settings.
2

Go to Notifications

In the settings menu, select Notifications.

Notification types

Gliit can notify you about the following types of activity:
NotificationDescription
Document shared with youWhen someone shares a document and adds you as a collaborator
Comment on your documentWhen a collaborator leaves a comment on a document you own or collaborate on
Edit activityWhen a collaborator makes changes to a document you’re watching
Account activitySign-in alerts and account security events

Configure your preferences

For each notification type, you can typically toggle it on or off. Some notifications may also offer a choice of delivery method:
  • In-app — A notification appears within the Gliit interface
  • Email — A message is sent to your registered email address
Enable only the notifications that are relevant to your workflow to keep your inbox and in-app alerts focused.
If you collaborate on many shared documents, consider turning off edit-activity notifications for documents you’re not actively working on to reduce noise.

Unsubscribe from email notifications

If you no longer want to receive email notifications from Gliit, you can either:
  1. Go to SettingsNotifications and disable email delivery for all notification types.
  2. Click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Gliit notification email.
Disabling email notifications does not disable in-app notifications. You’ll still see alerts inside Gliit.
