Gliit is built for collaboration. You can share documents with teammates, work on content together, and keep everyone aligned — whether you’re co-writing in real time or sharing a finished piece for review.

Share a document

1

Open your document

Navigate to the document you want to share and open it.
2

Click Share

Find the Share button (typically in the top-right area of the document view).
3

Invite collaborators

Enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite. Choose their permission level:
  • Can view — collaborators can read the document but not edit
  • Can edit — collaborators can make changes to the document
4

Send the invitation

Click Send or Invite. Gliit notifies your collaborators by email with a link to the document.
Collaborators need a Gliit account to access shared documents. If they don’t have one, they’ll be prompted to create one when they follow the share link.

Real-time collaboration

When multiple users have a document open at the same time, changes appear for all collaborators in real time. You can see who else is in the document from the list of active users shown in the editor.
Communicate with your collaborators using comments or a separate channel so you don’t overwrite each other’s work unintentionally.

Manage access to a document

To review or change who has access to a document:
1

Open the document and click Share

Open your document and click the Share button.
2

Review the collaborator list

The sharing panel shows everyone with access and their permission level.
3

Update or remove access

Click the permission dropdown next to a collaborator’s name to change it, or click Remove to revoke their access.

Leave a shared document

If you no longer want access to a document that was shared with you, open the document options menu and select Leave document or Remove myself. You’ll lose access immediately.
